Announcing Our Newest Member: ECMC Foundation
- News
CFBMoC is excited to share the addition of our newest member, ECMC Foundation! The Los Angeles-based, nationally focused foundation works to improve higher education for career success among underserved populations through evidence-based innovation.
ECMC Foundation’s Men of Color Initiative, which is working toward systemic change for Black, Latinx, Southeast Asian and Native American men to feel supported on college campuses and have better outcomes in higher education, is perfectly aligned with our work in advancing opportunities for boys and men of color.
We look forward to learning from and collaborating with ECMC Foundation President Jacob Fraire (pictured at left), who brings decades of experience advancing transformational change in postsecondary education to help more students from underserved backgrounds achieve economic mobility. We’re thankful for the leadership and strategic vision of Senior Program Officer Saúl Valdez, who has worked to establish this initiative and form our new partnership.
As a network, we strive to radically transform systems and policies to address opportunity gaps and create pathways that enable boys and men of color in California to achieve their greatest hopes and dreams. With ECMC Foundation as our newest member, we are confident that our collective efforts will be amplified, and we will be able to drive an even greater impact throughout the state.
Join us in welcoming ECMC Foundation to CFBMoC!
