In partnership with My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, the Ford Foundation, and business and community leaders from across California we would like to invite you to the, “Invest in Youth: Pathways to Success Boys & Men of Color Career Summit” and reception. The event is scheduled to take place in Oakland, Thursday, July 21st, 9:00am – 3:00pm, with a reception to follow.
This summit is designed to elevate our collective efforts and demonstrate our resolve to remove obstacles to success that face boys and men of color (BMoC) across the state. The summit provides the CEA a high profile opportunity to formally partner with the business community, the entertainment community, showcase our statewide and regional committee structure, and deepen our connection to those in the national BMoC movement. This event will include a career fair that will offer economic and employment opportunities to young men living in the region and a reception at the Oakland Museum from 3-6pm.
Additional information and formal invitations to CEA members will be forthcoming. Please join us.
